Issue: Homeland Security

I agree with the vast majority of the American public inasmuch as I am in favor of “profiling” in airports. One of my favorite columnists, Ann Coulter pointed out that when the last 36 terrorists all roughly had the same physical characteristics, age, background etc. (many of them even had the same name “Mohammed”), it ceases to be profiling. At that point it becomes a description of the suspect. It is manifestly absurd to put an 85-year-old grandmother in a wheel chair through enhanced security measures just so that some interest group doesn’t get offended. Political Correctness be damned. American lives are at stake. Besides, I suspect law abiding, patriotic Muslims don’t want to die either.
